New on intmainvoid: Tool of the day

I've added a new Category to my int main ( void ) site, the Tool of the day.
I'll be publishing an article about a new tool or command weekdays at midnight CET.
I'm planning to use Fridays for specials..

The first one was published last night, this one is about the ls command..

Some excerpts from the GPLv3 Discussion Draft 1

Some countries have adopted laws prohibiting software that enables users
to escape from Digital Restrictions Management. DRM is fundamentally
incompatible with the purpose of the GPL, which is to protect users'
freedom; therefore, the GPL ensures that the software it covers will
neither be subject to, nor subject other works to, digital restrictions
from which escape is forbidden.

Finally, every program is threatened constantly by software patents. We
wish to avoid the special danger that redistributors of a free program will
individually obtain patent licenses, in effect making the program
proprietary. To prevent this, the GPL makes it clear that any patent must

Windows Meta Files

It's a nice start of the new year..

Atleast when you are not a Microsoft employee or a sysadmin in a M$ shop..
For my rant on Microsft handeling this WMF exploit bussiness I'd like to point you to either the dutch or the english version.

For a temporary fix and up to date info, go check out the SANS Internet Storm Center.

Why not just make the switch today.
